Been here for in the past for mortar, limestone sills. Stopped by for paver base and leveling sand, but didn’t really know what I needed. Steve was working the yard. This place has a strong sales team that will help you find the right materials for restoration jobs. I looked for pre-blended lime at several years and could not find a consistent mix. HFS had the right materials and the right recommendations. I trust them to help identify what is needed.

My husband and I bought an old Chicago 3 flat that needed a ton of work. The tuckpointing on the outside and inside brick needed A LOT of attention. We read that this old, Chicago brick needed special lime mortar. Through some googling found Henry Frerk Sons provided this mortar and specialized in old home preservation. We were a little intimidated because they seemed to work only with contractors, but they were EXTREMELY nice to us as residential customers.
Furthermore, they have a specialist that color matches to your current mortar, so we kept the curb appeal without sacrificing quality. We now come here for all our masonry needs.
